PCBC Early Childhood
A child’s first impression of God’s love can come from a good church experience during the first years of life.
We want all our preschoolers to know that Jesus loves them and that church is a safe, happy place.
Our desire is to partner with parents to plant seeds of faith. We have wonderful, gifted Preschool teachers in each class who teach God’s Word and pray for our children. Our teachers believe that time invested in the life of a preschooler has eternal significance. Thank you for entrusting your children to us.
New here? Welcome! Here are some things to know.
We Love Your Children!
We are happy to have your family worship and learn with us at PCBC. Below you can find the age group that fits your child’s needs. We can’t wait to meet you all!
We’ve recently updated our PCBC Preschool policies and procedures. This booklet contains valuable information that includes what your child should and shouldn’t bring to class, what personal items we need from you (bottles, formula, diapers, etc.), and security procedures.
If there are any questions, please contact Valerie Fisher at 405-773-6900.
Birth – 2 Years
The youngest members of our PCBC family! Your babies will be cared for, loved, and shown the Gospel of Jesus while in our Birth-2 year classes. Skilled volunteers who love the Lord help build a foundation at the earliest stages of your child’s life.
You may also contact us if you would like to schedule a special time for a Parent Commitment/Baby Dedication. This takes place during one of our worship times and allows parents to make a public commitment to raise their children in a Christian home. A one-time class is a pre-requisite for parents.
3 – 4 Years
Our goal is to provide key relationships and opportunities for learning Bible truths through play, music, storytelling, puppets and art.
Each Sunday morning Preschoolers visit Puppet City! Our puppet friends tell Bible stories and sing songs as preschoolers learn about God’s love.
Our 3 and 4 year olds are also old enough to participate in our Awana Cubbies program on Wednesday evenings.
Our Pre-K students engage in a Christ-focused learning environment with play, music, storytelling, puppets, and art. The foundations continue to be laid for centering their young lives on Jesus and the Gospel as they prepare to venture out into school in upcoming years.
Our Pre-K students are old enough to be in our Wednesday evening Awana programs.
What We Have to Offer
Our preschool has a number of amenities and activities for your family to plug into. Here are just a few of them.
Each Sunday morning Preschoolers attend a puppet show during the 11:10 hour. Puppet friends tell Bible stories and sing songs as preschoolers learn about God’s love.
A Mother’s Room is available for our nursing mothers in the back portion of Room 108.
Our Faith@Home center has resources for all stages of life, including early childhood and parenthood.
Our Learning Tree program is an early childhood, Christian School that is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year. Children learn from an established Christian curriculum.
Awana Cubbies are our 3 year and 4 year old classes. We meet on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:15pm until 7:45pm. We memorize God’s Word, participate in fun game times, learn of missions, make new friends, and much more.
Would You Like to Volunteer?
We’d love to hear from you. There’s a short form to fill out and submit. After reviewing, we will contact you with areas of need that could be a good fit.
