Weekly Prayer Calendar

We want to ask the Lord to make this a powerful time for families! So many families are in their homes together for, what might be, the first time in a long time. What if God used this trying time in the world to bring families back together again? It is no secret that the enemy loves to attack and try to divide the family. We invite you join us in asking the Lord to guard against that and restore families, bless families, and strengthen families.

Healthcare Workers

We want to ask the Lord to protect and bless those that are selflessly serving our communities right now. Our healthcare workers are working long hours and risking their own personal health to care for others. What a powerful testimony! We want to invite you to join us in praying for their health, their strength, their peace and their rest. And if you know someone working a job like this, maybe consider sending them an encouraging text today!

The Sick

We want to ask the Lord to heal our land! We are asking for Him to heal our world physically of this sickness, and also spiritually. The Bible refers to God as “Jehovah Rapha” which means “The God who heals”. (Exodus 15:26). Friends, He is able. He is able to heal! We want to invite you to join us in praying that God would heal the world from this virus that is plaguing so many. We also want to unite in praying that God would heal spiritual sickness and bring salvation to hearts during this time! Now is the time for the Church to rise and be a light in the darkness!

The Unemployed

We want to ask the Lord to redeem what looks like a hopeless situation for so many. This pandemic has caused many people to be without work and that can be an incredibly scary reality to face. We believe that God is bigger! God is bigger than a pandemic and bigger than unemployment. This is the same God that made a dry pathway through a body of water to deliver His people from oppression. (Exodus 14). We want to invite you to join us in praying with faith to the God who is bigger than our situation and ask Him to provide for those finding themselves unemployed right now.

The Church

We want to ask the Lord to use this time to bring revival! We know this to be true… Light shines the brightest in darkness. How much of our world is colored with darkness right now? Everywhere we turn, there seems to be bad news. May we not hoard the Good News we have! May we take every opportunity to share! We want to invite you to join us in praying for boldness, strength, and opportunities to share the Gospel. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” THAT is good news!

Our Leaders

We want to ask the Lord to guide our leaders. We cannot imagine the pressure our leaders are feeling in trying to make the best and wisest decisions for the people they serve. Instead of being critics, let’s be prayer warriors. We want to invite you to join us in praying for them, asking the Lord to lead, guide, and direct every decision they make. And may peace that comes from Jesus Christ rule in their hearts. (Colossians 3:15)
