When We Meet

Sundays, 9:45am – Rooted Groups

During the week, students have the opportunity to connect with other believers through our Sunday morning Rooted Group (9:45am). During this time, students are challenged to apply the truth of God’s word to their lives, grow in the knowledge of God, and live in obedience to His will. This is a great time of fellowship as our students engage the word of God, pray for each other, and build community together.

Tuesdays, 6:30pm and Thursdays, 7:30pm- Rooted Midweek

Rooted Midweek takes place on Tuesdays at 6:30pm at the Ross residence and  Thursdays at 7:30pm at the McClellan residence.  For more information, please email Brent at brent.ross@pcbc.tv.

Rooted Events

Helping young adults deeply plant themselves in God so that we can continue to grow in Him.

Nexus Worship Nights

A multi-church night of worship where we gather to praise God! This takes place every other month and is for people of all ages, but is specifically geared toward those in their 20s and 30s. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage everyone to bring their friends!

Rooted Rafting Retreat

A great time of bonding for our Rooted Ministry! Anyone ages 18-25, is invited to join the ride all the way to Canon City, Colorado, and join the fun!

Mission Work

Our Rooted Ministry loves to serve through mission work. In their most recent trip to Louisiana, our students helped to provide disaster relief and repair houses as a team.

Why Rooted?

Whether you are taking classes or braving the working world, 18-25-year-olds want a place to belong and a community they can count on. Our Rooted ministry offers Sunday Small groups and various activities throughout the year that provide opportunities for connection, biblical equipping, and serving. We pray that you choose to be part of Rooted and dive into lasting friendships with other PCBC members your age.

Our Rooted Ministry is based out of Colossians 2:6-7. In this passage, it talks about how as Christians we have received Jesus Christ into our lives and we should walk daily in union with Him. In verse 7 it goes on to say that we should have our roots firmly and deeply planted in Him so that we can continue to grow in Him to the point that it overflows and abounds in our life.

It is a challenging time to be a young adult. We are now living in a post-Christian culture and our students are facing a world that is becoming increasingly hostile to the Gospel. We want to come alongside our young adults and encourage and equip them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
