EASTER at PCBC

Sunday, April 20th | 3 Service Opportunities

Join us for Good Friday and Easter at Putnam City Baptist Church
as we remember Jesus’s death, celebrate His resurrection,
and live in the hope of new life through Christ.

We'd love for you to
join us for Easter!

The events of the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus changed the world forever! There is nothing that can possibly overshadow it. Even though Christians around the world and throughout history celebrate and live out of the reality of the resurrection every day, we take time to remember these historical events every year at Easter. It is a special time to remember and worship!

On this page you'll find some information that we think will be helpful to you and if you have any additional questions at all we'd love to answer them! We have a brief contact form below. We are excited for you to join us for Easter at PCBC!

Good Friday

April 18th • 6pm

Our Good Friday service is a time to remember the great cost of our salvation that Jesus purchased by the breaking of His body and the shedding of His innocent blood. We will do this through a simplified worship experience, brief teaching moments and through the physical remembrance of receiving the Lord's Supper together. It is a thoughtful and somber time of worship as we reflect on the events of the crucifixion.

This is a family service and we love having families in worship together. The service is an hour and we do our best to make sure that everyone is engaged. That being said, your kids can be themselves!

Resurrection Sunday

April 20th • 3 Services

8:30 | 9:45 | 11:05

Easter Sunday services are amazing times of worship and celebration! Even if you're just visiting PCBC or are joining us for the very first time, our desire is that you feel a sense of family and energy that exists among us here.

All three of our services will have a full, combined worship team with full choir and worship band. We do this so that you and your family and friends can simply choose the service time that works best for you.

FAQs

Here's some questions that you might already be asking. Below is a map to help you know what areas of the building provide major entrances.

What Can I Expect?
You can look forward to a time of celebration and worship as we gather to reflect on Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection. Please invite your friends, family, and older children to experience Easter at PCBC! Easter and Good Friday services are around an hour in length.
Will Children's Ministry be Provided?
Good Friday Service | We will have a service for the whole family. There is a Mom & Me Room available for nursing mothers or those who need to let their infant or toddler get some energy out.

Easter Services | Kids ministry is available for children from infant through preschool all three Easter Services. Make sure to register your children beforehand or come about 10min early to get a parking spot and check them in at the Welcome Desk in the Kids Building.
Where Can I Park and Enter?
Parking can be tricky when you're visiting a new church. PCBC has a lot of open parking and it makes it fairly simple to navigate. But, on Easter Sunday, there is a lot of overlap between services where people are coming and going.

Our main parking lot is along Rockwell to the East of the main building. There is also a parking lot outside the Kids Building entrance for ease of parents getting in for kids check-in.
Should I Arrive Early?
To make sure you have time to find a parking spot, grab some coffee and find a seat, we'd recommend that you arrive about 10min prior to the service you're attending.

Where is PCBC?

We are located at 11401 N Rockwell Ave in North OKC
